We were very pleased to welcome Jackie Trinder back to our group on Friday 31 March for a demonstration of watercolour painting on the theme of flowers. Jackie brought along a mass of her work for us to look at and showed us some of her techniques. We then had a go at painting flowers. Here is some of Jackie’s work and below are examples of work done on the night and in the follow-up session the following week.

Over twenty members of Gravesend Art Group attended a very exciting watercolour workshop run by Jackie Trinder from Medway Towns. We all enjoyed much it very much. The evening was fun and inspiring, and we definitely hope to have Jackie back again.

Jackie was very pleased with the standard of work from everyone and has put a lot of images on her own website: http://jackietrinder.com/past-workshops/ where you can also find examples of her own beautiful work. Jackie runs her own small studio workshops in groups of four Tuesdays and Wednesdays and occasional weekends. She sometimes does a whole day if very oversubscribed.
