Several GAG members took part in the Gravesham Arts Competition in July: Deirdre Beven, Annette Brown, Gloria Holden, Dot Lowe, Tracey Quarrington-Page, Suzan Metawea, Paul Relf, Linda Stocker, Peter Vigar and Colin Wright.
We are pleased to announce that GAG member Suzan Metwaea won First Prize and Gloira Holden got a Highly Commended at this annual competition which took place 8 - 9 July 2107 at the St Andrew’s Art Centre. Well done all for taking part, to those who worked hard to help organise it and especially to our winners!

GAG Annual Exhibition 2017
at St Andrew’s Art Centre
Good Attendance Numbers
Nearly 900 people visited our Annual Exhibition during the last week of August and the start of September. There were lots of positive comments from the visitors and many different pictures were chosen as “Best in Show” with Colin Wright’s “Fox and the Crows”, Peter Vigor’s “Tilbury Reflections” and Linda Stocker’s “Summer Home” coming top of the poll!

Preview Evening
The exhibition was opened at the Preview Evening by the Mayor and Mayoress of Gravesham, Cllr Harold Craske and Mrs Veronica Craske. Vice Chairman Dierdre Beven welcomed everyone and introduced our guests.
